Texture Tuesday - Natural

This week's theme at Kim's Texture Tuesday is 'natural'.  This is right up my alley as my favorite subject matter is nature.  This summer we have had an overabundance of dragonflies this year.  We don't have your average dragonfly, we have gigantic dragonflies.  I love them.  They are so brave.  They will come close to us on the deck and sit still for photo shoots!  I should do some research to find out more about these beautiful creatures.

I adjusted the levels and then added a layer of Kim's aurora and ohMy both on 100% multiply.  I love how this image turned out.

This shot looks so ethereal. It's beautiful. I was stunned when the dragonfly I photographed this week stood very still...like he was posing....they are usually hard to capture.

Beautiful Barb. I never seem to be able to get close enough or fast enough to capture any Dragonflys! There seem to be an awful lot of them this summer!

really a great shot, I haven't seen too many dragonflies this year, they must be all by you. Have a happy one!!
