Our Word View - CONNECTIONS

What is Our Word View?  A collaboration between two friends who lost touch over the years but have reconnected online.  We share a love of the ocean, photography, quotes, animals and family.  Often times our photographic interpretations of our word of the week are very similar.

This week I chose the word connections for our photographic interpretation.  I hope you will go over to Our Word View and see what Liz shares this week.

When I chose the word 'connections' I was thinking about my extended family.  Today as I create this post I am thinking about my Mum and Dad.  Ever since my Mum passed away almost 12 years ago the beautiful cardinal has represented a huge connection to her spirit.  It always seems when I am missing her most or needing to remember the cardinal crosses my path.  I call the male cardinal 'Nanny Bird' and the female cardinal 'Papa Bird'.  Today as I worked with R over at 40 M 'Papa Bird' paid us a visit. It felt like he was watching over us as we toiled once again. It was such a comfort.

Peace!

I do believe that objects or things represent our loved ones. The cardinal especially the male cardinal is my favorite bird. Just this past week I told my husband that if I die before him anytime he sees a male cardinal near him it will be me visiting him! How funny! A more beautiful bird could not signify love!
