Simple Woman's Daybook 5

Outside my window...it is gray and looks like rain.

I am thinking...that I really want my voice back!

I am thankful for...just 6 more days until my new adventure begins.  Lots to do in those six days.

From the kitchen...not much this week.  Maybe some yummy goodness for football this weekend.

I am wearing...my pj's and bathrobe as it is a at home sick day for me today.

I am creating... a source book for art ideas for my teaching partner to refer to once I have left my current position.  I picked up the photos and I'll put it all together this weekend.

I am going...to work with my class to create something beautiful for a friend.

I am wondering... how long it will take to get better.

I am reading...Dear Mr. Henshaw in prep of the takeover.

I am hearing...The television.... Cooking channel background noise.

I am hoping...still....that we get a good snow storm.

I am looking forward to...February vacation!

I am learning...how to let things go... it is hard for me.

Around the house...things are good; clean and relatively organized.

A favorite quote for today...  “The final proof of greatness lies in being able to endure criticism without resentment." Elbert Hubbard

One of my favorite things...is snuggling with my dog.

A few plans for the rest of the week: working on my online class, working in the 4th grade class, organizing my art sourcebook, starting my recertification application and creating prints for my Valentines.    I'm also going to continue to say a lot of prayers for my friend who is fighting cancer.    Please if you are the spiritual type add my dear friend M to your prayers.

A peek into my day

Peace!

I've kept this quiet over at FB but I am leaving my current teaching position to begin a long term substitute teaching position in the school right up the street. I am heading back into the public school world! 4th grade until the end of the year. It should be great.
