This week Liz chose the word tantalizing. This image was the first image that came to mind when thinking of that word. Just looking at this image makes my mouth water! This is a slice of cake from my birthday last year. It is a lemon ricotta cake with lemon icing, a reduced and slightly sweetened raspberry coulis, and fresh home made whipped cream. This was one of the best birthday cakes I have ever made! I will try to recreate this yummy confection this year too!

Oh my gosh you made that cake! Wow I would love that recipe if you still have it. It sounds incredible and looks even better!
