14 Years!
So yesterday was N's 14th birthday. It is hard to believe that 14 years have gone by since his birth. He is such a blessing. I wish his birthday was not so close to the beginning of school. It is hard for him to focus on the fun of a birthday with the start of school looming. I tried to make it fun for him. We watched his favorite show, had a yummy meal of salmon, mashed potato, roasted carrots and pickled cucumbers and tomatoes. It was delicious. We followed it up with a homemade ice cream birthday cake.

Looks like your son had a great birthday! My youngest son's birthday falls close to the first day of school as well and he always complained about that! Now that he's in college, he starts a bit later. That cake looks awesome!
