I lost a dear friend earlier this month. She courageously battled cancer for almost two years without any respite from the insidious disease. The symbolism and beauty of the dragonfly is quintessentially the essence of my friend. I look forward to seeing the dragonflies descend upon my yard this summer as they will certainly remind me of the beauty in this world and beyond.
