There is something to be said for the quiet you experience when walking in the woods.  I love finding peace and quiet in nature.

I recently saw a quote on a friend's wall on FB.  It read " If a caterpillar can become a butterfly... imagine what you could become."

Fall is perhaps my favorite season.  I love the cool weather and the beautiful colors that we see in nature.  The bright oranges, reds and purples against beautiful blue skies bring me such joy.  I have been observing the changes in one of the trees at my school.  It is an old tree that has seen better days.  It looks like it has incurred damage over the years yet it still graces us with such beauty.

Night photography is not my forte.  I wish that I were better at nighttime photography.  Like anything it takes practice and typically at night I am not in the frame of mind to practice anything. Once and a while I will attempt to capture a shot of the moon or night sky.  Like most of my photo adventures I take many shots and am excited when I am lucky and capture a couple of good images.
